WEEK 1
1. The Life of Don Bosco
Objective: Teachers will recognize the purpose of all Catholic schools is to form virtuous students and will take time to consider how they would like to be part of that mission.
• The mission of a Catholic school.
• The uniqueness of a Catholic education in forming virtuous people
• Encountering the living God
WEEK 2
2. The First Pillar: Reason
Objective: Teachers will understand why Catholic schools exist and how to encourage virtue among students and staff.
• Two systems of education: the repressive and the preventive.
• The three pillars of the preventive system.
• How to encourage virtuous behavior in your school through reason.
WEEK 3
3. The Second Pillar: Religion
Objective: Recognize each student’s value in the eyes of God and strive to instill them ever deeper desire for the sacraments.

• Where religion fits in the school setting.
• How to discipline in love with effect.
• The need for easy accessibility to the Holy Eucharist and the sacrament of reconciliation
WEEK 4
4. The Third Pillar: Loving-Kindness
Objective: Educators will discuss the importance of showing loving-kindness to their students.

• The difficulties in loving students well.
WEEK 5
5. Loving-Kindness Through Active Presence and Accompaniment
Objective: Educators will be actively accompany their students through their difficulties.
• The great influence of teachers over students.
• How to accompany students during their lunch breaks to bear witness and give them the stability they need.
WEEK 6
6. Discipline
Objective: Educators will come to a greater understanding for the proper use of discipline.

• The proper time and place for punishments.
• The young's need for attention and praise.

Workshop to be completed by participants outside of the formation setting. 80% of all worksheets and outputs are necessary for completion of program.
